$120 stolen from vehicle in Fort Oglethorpe

A Rossville woman is short $120 after someone entered her vehicle and stole her wallet while she was working at the McDonald's on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe.

According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department, the theft occurred between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15. at the McDonald’s at 1179 Ga. 2 (Battlefield Parkway).

The victim said she parked her vehicle in the restaurant's parking lot when she arrived at work, and then returned to her vehicle after her shift to find that someone had entered the vehicle and taken her billfold from the front passenger seat.

Cash, the victim's driver's license, and her debit card were among the items taken.

The vehicle was left unlocked during the time of the incident.
