The Elder Abuse Team of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Domestic Violence Task Force is hosting the Northwest Georgia Senior Living EXPO on Tuesday, September 18 at the Walker County (Georgia) Civic and Ag Center, Hwy 27, Rock Spring, GA from 9am – 4pm. This expo is developed for and will benefit the senior population in our surrounding region. Included in this expo will be food, critical info from area agencies (Social Security, Area Agency on Aging, AARP, etc.), health screenings including balance, mammograms, speech and hearing,etc. entertainment, preview GA Apple Festival/farmers market,crafts, travel,, elder law (free onsite limited legal assistance by Georgia Legal Services), Veterans affairs issues staffed in the Veterans Administration Van, Life Force, onsite cardiologist, hobbies with a local author, free giveaways. Seniors Got Talent contest from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
