The Georgia Alpaca Association presents The Royal Alpaca Challenge on November 21 & 22, 2009 at the site of the Olympic equestrian events, the Georgia International Horse Park, in Conyers, GA. This FREE, family friendly event is bringing participants from across the eastern U.S. to compete in the show ring. Fiber artists will demonstrate weaving and other uses for the finest, natural fiber in the world - alpaca! Vendors will offer sweaters, vests, hats, rugs and more made of luxurious alpaca fleece. Come browse the Silent Auction tables for treasures. Fiber arts and weaving guilds are cordially invited. 4-H, FFA and like organizations will enjoy learning about the alpaca farming option from owners who raise and show these magnificent animals.
